FC Test Drive After Tune-up

On the Road Again...

We replaced the cap, points and rotor, set the timing and dwell.  F134 Hurricane idled fine, but was hesitating a bit when under a load.  Especially when in 2nd and 3rd gear.

Finally figured out we had a slight vacuum leak.  Also cleaned out the crankcase ventilation.  Running slightly rich, plugs still fouling up with soot, but definitely running better.  Still need to let it warm up a bit when cold.

Everything we do is an adventure.  Nothing seems to be easy.  At least the first time 'round.
